Let me just refute the stereotype that men are the only ones that watch porn, by saying, “I love watching porn!” And I know that I am not alone. If you are going to venture into the porn realm with your partner, it is super important to be honest. What helps me watch porn openly with my man is that we are sensitive to each other’s preferences. Branch into it by sussing out what your partner is into, and be sure to let them know what you like too.

We also me to remind ourselves that these are fantasies. Porn stars are exactly that…stars. I am not a porn star; I will not be perfect every time (we don’t get retakes). There was a time that I was ashamed of being turned on by porn; I would watch it in secret. I felt that if anyone knew that I was into porn, it made me a sex fiend.
