	I think the whole women-not-coming-from-intercourse thing is really common, and not often talked about at all! 	The thing I like about this discussion is that they treat sex as normal. It's portrayed in a sane and rational manner. Everywhere else I turn, sex is blown out of proportion into some weird, freak event. At school it seems the message is "sex will kill you!" In the movies it has to be the key bonding event - if you have sex than you have found your life long luuuuuv mate. In porn sex is the most ecstatically pleasurable event of your life. 	Honest, don't be disappointed in yourself!!! It's totally normal not to reach orgasm during intercourse. It is not your "failing" -- a majority of women don't come during intercourse. To begin though, you may want to consider self-stimulation during intercourse. Since you're able to come during masturbation, replicating those sensations during intercourse may help (and guys often love it and think it's so hot!). Also, and this may be obvious, but you need to get in a position in which your clitoris is steadily stimulated in the manner that feels best for you.If mentally you're at a place where you are relaxed and able to let go, that could work. Reaching orgasm is difficult, especially with a partner, because we tend to need to be totally focused on the sensation ... and other arousing things, yet during sex there is so much going on -- and we are often concerned with his orgasm --that it's hard to get into that space. But, you should certainly consider telling your BF. Only then will you be able to work together to find a way to satisfying you. Good luck! Let us know what happens. 	I can only have orgasms through oral sex but not it like that doesn't work for me anymore. It's frustrating because my boyfriend like to see me orgasm and I miss the feeling. 	Nothing is wrong with you!! Many woman are like that. Regarding your inability recently to climax from oral -- do you think it's mental (ie, you're not able to relax enough and enjoy) or physical (he's not giving you what you need?). There can be many reasons, but most likely it's only a temporary situation. Regarding your ability to come via masturbation -- what about incorporating self-stimulation into partner sex? Many guys love it when their lady touches herself during intercourse and comes as a result. Or, you can masturbate while your partners kisses, massages, and fondles you. That's always a fun one! 	I was 14 years old the first time that I had and orgasm,on my own, now I am 31 I have been married for 12 years and never had an orgasm with my husband,I only had sex with 1 man, so I don't have anyone else to compare with. I have no problem having an orgasm on my own, I have orgasm just about everyday, so why can't I orgasm with my husband? is there something wrong with me? 	Since you can orgasm on your own, but not during intercourse, it seems that communication is the key. During sex you need to talk with your husband about position and rhythm that works for you. 	Do men make themselve orgasm when having intercourse? The ideal just came to me. When he comes, its because he is doing all the work. I guess I need to know my body more. 	My girlfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years. She still, to this day, takes my breath away. But try as I must. She rarely orgasms during sex. However, she masturbates often during the day. Which is a fantastic turn on to me. Can these two be combined somehow? I believe that during sex she feels her job is to make me orgasm and she will later, alone. I want to stop this somehow and make it so she is what matters first.
