Prior to that no one shaved and everyone was happy. the word "gross" to describe an unshaven pubic area in a woman did not exist. The porn world has changed all of that and we are copycats so we are hooked on the unshaven now.

In fact, I submit that the early shaved women might have received curious stares.
Shaving or not shaving was not an issue when i went to a nudist (naturist) beach in 1987, but it has been turned into an unwholesome argument.
I am 65 and I grew up seeing women with pubic hair which defines their femininity.
I do not know why this should be such an issue now.
For me, I want to see a grown woman look like a grown woman and not like a four-year-old girl.
Groomed pubic areas on women turn me on; shaved ones do not. I have seen enough naked women in my time to know the difference.
For the women who keep their pubic hair, I say to you that you do not have to please the masses. You look great and as you should look, so, keep your hair.
