	My girlfriend (age 27) has never masturbated and refuses to touch herself even during sex. You can imagine that this makes our sex lives rather difficult, since she doesn't know what she wants/likes and she can only orgasm if I devote ample attention to her with my own fingers or tongue, which just isn't possible in many positions. I've encouraged, discussed and pleaded with her to no avail--I've even bought, read, and then shared "For Yourself" by Bonnie Barbach with her. She read it, but still no self-lovin. 	Hey Lumberjack, the simple answer to your question is Cherry TV. We have tons of videos that involve self stimulation and masturbation. However, her refusal to masturbate doesn't seem to be an issue of not knowing -- and granted, I'm not a professional therapist -- but there may be something else going on. If you are resentful of having to spend so much time and energy on her orgasm, you may want to tell her that she is also responsible for her orgasm, it can't only come from you. And since you are not in her body, she needs to help you figure out what works. Then it is up to you to determine how much time you'll want to spend focusing on her orgasm during sex. Maybe it's not that important to her? It also never helps when there's pressure to climax -- so maybe that's a factor. Regardless, she's not into self-stimulation at this time and you have to respect that. It may change, but for now, your suggestions and encouragement wouldn't help. Good luck! 	Where are the women like me who didn't figure it out till they were in their 20s? I don't think I even knew what masturbation was till I was almost out of high school and even then, I thought it was something only guys did. Then one day I was talking to someone and he said something that presumed I did masturbate, and I thought, "Now, how does one go about doing that exactly?"
